Basic knowledge of sociology and sociological research on the bachelor study program level.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim is to clarify the basic concepts and relevant concepts to understand the relation between the social structure of society and public administration institutions, lighting related state and local governments. Learn the basics of sociology organization, organizational principles and an understanding of the concepts of bureaucracy and bureaucratization. Understanding the relationship between citizens and public administration on the example of the formation of local and group interests of citizens in relation to the activities of public administration institutions. Students will acquire skills in problem definition and analysis of the public interest, in particular the identification of the influence of group interests in the resolution and enforcement with regard to the legislative context. Students will learn to select approaches measuring the performance of public administration.
