- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to present students with theoretical foundations necessary for the management of enterprise information systems (IS) with an emphasis on the importance of information in internal and external business communications and the principles of IS security policies.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to:
- identify and summarize important features of enterprise information systems;
- identify and describe current domestic and foreign business information systems;
- describe the factors that influence an undertaking's decision to purchase GIS;
- compare and highlight differences in types of enterprise information systems;
