The student will be able to use advanced tools of MS PowerPoint, including template of slides, animations, sounds. Use macros, analysis tools and the Solver module in MS Excel when creating, editing and managing tables. They will get acquainted with MS Access.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
Create a PowerPoint presentation, including animations and sound.
Insert data and perform calculations using MS Excel functions, format tables in MS Excel, use analytical tools.
Work with MS Access.

Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to apply advanced tools used in MS Word to manage long documents, the teamwork and protecting documents. To apply tools in MS Excel to create, edit and manage tables.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, a student will be able to edit large documents in MS Word 2010, create a form, work with templates in MS Word 2010, enter data into tables, calculate using formulas in MS Excel 2010, format tables in MS Excel 2010, use analysis tools, create Pivot table in MS Excel 2010, work with mail merge in MS Word 2010.
Syllabus
  • 1. MS Word – editing large documents - dividing the document into sections (varied page setups, varied headers and footers).
  • 2. MS Word – creating a form, inserting various types of form fields, document protection.
  • 3. MS Word – working with templates, downloading a template from the MS Office website, creating a custom template. Document revision, sharing documents with other users, addition of comments, document comparison.
  • 4. MS Excel – entering any data into tables, calculations using formulas, numeric formats, more complex calculations in tables using various types of references.
  • 5. MS Excel - formal editing tables (manual formatting or use Gallery), work sheets (insert, delete, rename, copy), work with rows and columns (insert, delete).
  • 6. MS Excel – application of more complex functions (financial, text, etc.), nesting functions within functions.
  • 7. MS Excel – conditional formatting. More complex chart editing.
  • 8. MS Excel - working with worksheets. Calculations with references to other worksheets or workbooks. Printing of larger tables, header and footer, repeating a table heading on subsequent pages, print area, size adjustment before printing.
  • 9. MS Excel – analysis tools (Goal Seek), databases – sorting, filtering, subtotals.
  • 10. MS Excel – databases - PivotTable
  • 11. MS Word – mail merge.
  • 12. Practical exercise in MS Word and MS Excel.

Course completion: Full-time studies: credit. Students edit MS Word document according to instructions and create and modify tables in MS Excel. Combined studies: students work out separately four POT’s and write the same full time final test as full-time students. The results of students must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the tools of both programs.

The course builds on the subject of Application Software 1 of winter semester 1st year. Assumed knowledge of techniques and tools work programs MS Word 2010 and MS PowerPoint 2010 at the level of the course curriculum.

At the end of the course students should be able to:
- apply advanced tools used in MS Word to manage long documents, the teamwork and protecting documents.
- apply tools in MS Excel to create, edit and manage tables.
Syllabus
  • 1. MS Word – editing large documents - dividing the document into sections (varied page setups, varied headers and footers)
  • 2. MS Word – creating a form, inserting various types of form fields, document protection.
  • 3. MS Word – working with templates, downloading a template from the MS Office website, creating a custom template. Document revision, sharing documents with other users, addition of comments, document comparison
  • 4. MS Excel – entering any data into tables, calculations using formulas, numeric formats, more complex calculations in tables using various types of references
  • 5. MS Excel - formal editing tables (manual formatting or use Gallery), work sheets (insert, delete, rename, copy), work with rows and columns (insert, delete).
  • 6. MS Excel – application of more complex functions (financial, text, etc.), nesting functions within functions.
  • 7. MS Excel – conditional formatting. More complex chart editing (secondary axis, adding data, data direction change,...). Modifications and

Navazuje na předmět Aplikační software 1 ze zimního semestru 1.ročníku - student by měl zvládat základní techniky práce s aplikacemi MS Office Word 2007, MS Office PowerPoint 2007 a MS Office Excel 2007 na úrovni osnovy tohoto předmětu.

Course objectives (in Czech)
Tato osnova je určena studentům prezenčního studium, průběh výuky pro kombinované studium je dán osnovou distančního studia předmětu AS_2. 1. Opakovací cvičení – zopakování práce se styly, číslování nadpisů, vytváření poznámek pod čarou a obsahu. Opakování použití různých typů adres ve výpočtech v tabulkách programu MS Excel 2. MS Word – číslování vložených objektů, vytváření seznamů objektů, křížové odkazy, rejstřík 3. MS Word – editace rozsáhlých dokumentů – rozdělení dokumentu na oddíly (orientace strany, svislé zarovnání strany, různá záhlaví a zápatí, číslování stran) 4. MS Word – elektronický formulář – vložení a úprava ovládacích prvků, ovládací prvky na vložené titulní straně, příprava formuláře k vyplnění, ochrana dokumentu 5. MS Word – práce se šablonami – použití standardních šablon nabízených programem, vytvoření vlastní šablony (např. hlavičkový papír firmy). Revize dokumentu, vkládání komentářů, porovnání dokumentů 6. MS Excel – složitější výpočty v tabulkách s použitím různých typů adres (event. názvů), aplikace složitějších funkcí (finanční, textové aj.), vnořování funkcí 7. MS Excel – použití dalších funkcí (logické, vyhledávací). Podmíněný formát. 8. MS Excel – práce s listy (vložení, přejmenování, odstranění, kopírování, práce s více listy současně). Externí odkazy - výpočty s odkazy na jiné listy event. sešity. Tisk rozsáhlých tabulek – záhlaví a zápatí, opakování hlavičky tabulky, oblast tisku, úprava měřítka pro tisk 9. MS Excel – analytické nástroje (hledání řešení, správce scénářů, tabulka dat) 10. MS Excel – databáze – řazení, filtr, souhrny, kontingenční tabulky a grafy 11. MS Word – hromadná korespondence 12. Zápočtové cvičení – zpracování praktického příkladu z aplikací MS Word a MS Excel

Způsob zakončení předmětu: zápočet. K udělení zápočtu musí mít student splněny tyto studijní povinnosti: 1. 75% účast na cvičeních, studenti KS 50%. Studentům, kteří nesplní povinný rozsah účasti, mohou být v průběhu semestru zadány dodatečné studijní povinnosti (v míře, která umožní prokázat studijní výsledky a získané kompetence nezbytné pro úspěšné zakončení předmětu). 2. zpracování zadaných domácích úloh podle pokynů vyučujícího 3. zpracování zápočtové práce s výsledkem min. 80% 4. zápočet z předmětu AS_1

Course objectives (in Czech)
Cílem předmětu je rozšířit znalosti studentů v základním aplikačním softwaru se zaměřením na software zařazený do balíku MS Office 2007. Jedná se zejména o pokročilejší techniky práce v aplikacích MS Excel 2007 a MS Word 2007, event. o některé další aplikace.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Tato osnova je určena pro prezenční studium, průběh výuky pro kombinované studium je uveden ve studijních materiálech formou metodického listu /ML/
  • 1. Opakovací cvičení – samostatná práce studentů, zopakování látky z aplikací Word a Excel z AS1.
  • 2. MS Word – práce se šablonami, stažení šablony z webu Office, vytvoření vlastní šablony (např. hlavičkový papír firmy)
  • 3. MS Word – vytvoření formuláře, příprava formuláře k vyplnění, ochrana dokumentu.
  • 4. MS Word – revize dokumentu, sdílení dokumentů s jinými uživateli, vkládání komentářů, porovnání dokumentů.
  • 5. MS Word – editace rozsáhlých dokumentů, vytváření rejstříků a seznamů, rozdělení dokumentu na oddíly (různý vzhled stránky, různá záhlaví a zápatí), křížové odkazy.
  • 6. MS Word – hromadná korespondence, export dat z jiných aplikací (Excel, Outlook, event. Access).
  • 7. MS Excel – složitější výpočty v tabulkách s použitím různých typů adres (event. názvů), aplikace složitějších funkcí (finanční, textové aj.), vnořování funkcí.
  • 8. MS Excel – práce s listy (vložení, přejmenování, odstranění, kopírování, práce s více listy současně), výpočty s odkazy na jiné listy event. sešity. Úpravy a tisk rozsáhlejších tabulek, záhlaví a zápatí, opakování hlavičky tabulky, oblast tisku, úprava velikosti pro tisk.
  • 9. MS Excel – podmíněné formátování, použití dalších funkcí (logické, vyhledávací). Složitější úpravy grafů (vedlejší osa, přidání dat, změna orientace dat, speciální funkce.
  • 10. MS Excel – analytické nástroje (hledání řešení, správce scénářů, datová tabulka).
  • 11. MS Excel – databáze - řazení, filtrování, souhrny, kontingenční tabulky a grafy.
  • 12. Zápočtové cvičení – zpracování praktického příkladu z aplikací MS Word a MS Excel.

1. 80% účast na cvičeních. Studentům, kteří nesplní povinný rozsah účasti, mohou být v průběhu semestru zadány dodatečné studijní povinnosti (v míře, která umožní prokázat studijní výsledky a získané kompetence nezbytné pro úspěšné zakončení předmětu).
2. zpracování zadaných domácích úloh podle pokynů vyučujícího

Tento předmět přímo navazuje na předmět „Aplikační software 1“. Studenti by měli mít zvládnuty postupy práce s aplikacemi MS Word 2007 a MS Excel 2007 probírané v tomto předmětu. Cílem předmětu je rozšířit znalosti studentů v základním aplikačním softwaru se zaměřením na software zařazený do balíku MS Office 2007. Jedná se zejména o pokročilejší techniky práce v aplikacích MS Excel 2007 a MS Word 2007, event. o některé další aplikace.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Tato osnova je určena pro prezenční studium, průběh výuky pro kombinované studium je uveden ve studijních materiálech formou metodického listu /ML/ 1. Opakovací cvičení – samostatná práce studentů, zopakování látky z aplikací Word a Excel z AS1. 2. MS Word – práce se šablonami, stažení šablony z webu Office, vytvoření vlastní šablony (např. hlavičkový papír firmy) 3. MS Word – vytvoření formuláře, příprava formuláře k vyplnění, ochrana dokumentu. 4. MS Word – revize dokumentu, sdílení dokumentů s jinými uživateli, vkládání komentářů, porovnání dokumentů. 5. MS Word – editace rozsáhlých dokumentů, vytváření rejstříků a seznamů, rozdělení dokumentu na oddíly (různý vzhled stránky, různá záhlaví a zápatí), křížové odkazy. 6. MS Word – hromadná korespondence, export dat z jiných aplikací (Excel, Outlook, event. Access) 7. MS Excel – složitější výpočty v tabulkách s použitím různých typů adres (event. názvů), aplikace složitějších funkcí (finanční, textové aj.), vnořování funkcí. 8. MS Excel – práce s listy (vložení, přejmenování, odstranění, kopírování, práce s více listy současně), výpočty s odkazy na jiné listy event. sešity. Úpravy a tisk rozsáhlejších tabulek, záhlaví a zápatí, opakování hlavičky tabulky, oblast tisku, úprava velikosti pro tisk. 9. MS Excel – podmíněné formátování, použití dalších funkcí (logické, vyhledávací). Složitější úpravy grafů (vedlejší osa, přidání dat, změna orientace dat, speciální funkce) 10. MS Excel – analytické nástroje (hledání řešení, správce scénářů, datová tabulka) 11. MS Excel – databáze - řazení, filtrování, souhrny, kontingenční tabulky a grafy 12. Zápočtové cvičení – zpracování praktického příkladu z aplikací MS Word a MS Excel.

Anotace je stejná pro obě formy studiaTento předmět je určen pro všechny studenty 1.ročníku bakalářského studia mimo obor „Aplikovaná informatika“. Navazuje na látku probranou v předmětu „Aplikační software 1“ Cílem předmětu je prohloubit znalosti a dovednosti studentů v používání základního aplikačního softwaru, který je součástí softwarového balíku MS Office 2003. Jedná se především o pokročilejší techniky v aplikacích MS Excel a MS Word a o tvorbu prezentací v aplikaci MS Powerpoint.
