Teaching methods
Teaching takes place in the form of exercises in a full-time form of study; concentration in the combined form of study;
The minimum mandatory participation in classes is set at 75% in exercises in the full-time form of study and at 50% in the training sessions in the combined form of study.
Assessment methods
The course ends with credit.
CREDIT: is awarded for presenting knowledge of 1 selected topic in the selected UNIX/LINUX OS distribution (topics will be listed in MS TEAMS). The presentation will be recorded in MS Teams (min. 10 minutes).

At the same time, the granting of credit is tied to the fulfillment of the obligation of active attendance (min. 75 % in full-time form and min. 50 % in combined form).

Teaching administration system will run on Linux/BSD, as well as teaching network settings. The entry requirement is a basic knowledge of UNIX (login, the basics shell access rights, editing text files, regular expressions) and networks (Ethernet, IP addresses and routing protocols, a TCP / IP (DNS, SMTP, HTTP)).

Cílem předmětu je seznámit posluchače s problematikou správy systémů typu UNIX a základním nastavením počítačových sítí. Zaměření kurzu je především na získání celkového přehledu a praxe při provádění běžných administračních úkolů. Výuka administrace systému bude probíhat na OS Linux/BSD, stejně tak jako výuka nastavení sítí. Vstupním předpokladem jsou základní znalosti prostřední UNIXu (přihlášení, základy ovládání shellu, přístupová práva, editace textových souborů, regulární výrazy) a sítí (Ethernet, IP adresy a směrování, protokoly rodiny TCP/IP (DNS, SMTP, HTTP)).

Typ výuky:Výuka probíhá formou cvičení Rozsah povinné účasti ve výuce: Minimální povinná účast na cvičení v prezenčním studiu je 75%, na řízených skupinových konzultacích v kombinovaném studiu 50%. Studentům, kteří nesplní povinný rozsah účasti, mohou být v průběhu semestru zadány dodatečné studijní povinnosti (v míře, která umožní prokázat studijní výsledky a získané kompetence nezbytné pro úspěšné zakončení předmětu). Typ výuky:Výuka probíhá formou cvičení Rozsah povinné účasti ve výuce: Minimální povinná účast na cvičení v prezenčním studiu je 80%, na řízených skupinových konzultacích v kombinovaném studiu 50%. Studentům, kteří nesplní povinný rozsah účasti, mohou být v průběhu semestru zadány dodatečné studijní povinnosti (v míře, která umožní prokázat studijní výsledky a získané kompetence nezbytné pro úspěšné zakončení předmětu). Způsob zakončení předmětu: zápočet se uděluje za úspěšné vyřešení příkladů zadávaných během výuky

Course objectives (in Czech)
Cílem předmětu je seznámit posluchače s problematikou správy systémů typu UNIX a základním nastavením počítačových sítí. Zaměření kurzu je především na získání celkového přehledu a praxe při provádění běžných administračních úkolů. Výuka administrace systému bude probíhat na OS Linux/BSD, stejně tak jako výuka nastavení sítí. Vstupním předpokladem jsou základní znalosti prostřední UNIXu (přihlášení, základy ovládání shellu, přístupová práva, editace textových souborů, regulární výrazy) a sítí (Ethernet, IP adresy a směrování, protokoly rodiny TCP/IP (DNS, SMTP, HTTP)).

  • Tato osnova je určena pro prezenční studium, průběh výuky pro kombinované studium je uveden ve studijních materiálech formou metodického listu (ML). Obsah přednášek 1. Základy práce a administrace OS, opakování 2. Disky a souborové systémy, RAID, zálohování 3. Správa uživatelů 4. Jádro, start systému, běžné služby 5. Logování, instalace software, updaty 6.
