- Teaching in the full-time form of study will take place on the basis of interactive lectures, in which the theory will be supplemented by practical examples, based on which the student will get an idea of the actual role of business management for its successful development. The lectures will include discussions on the topic, group work, etc. Teaching in combined study will take place in the form of guided consultations. It is assumed that students will be continuously prepared for guided group consultations, in which emphasis will be placed on practical applications with the aim of optimal use of knowledge from the subject in business practice. The minimum compulsory attendance at the full-time form of study is 75%, the combined form of study and ISP students 50%. If contact teaching and consultation in the personal presence of the student in full-time and combined form of study will be impossible, teaching is replaced by distance form of study and self-study.
- Assessment methods
- Students will be given a seminar paper (on two forms), which will analyze the way of managing the company, the basic performance indicators of the company and demonstrate the student's ability to analyze and make recommendations for the researched company. Detailed assignment of the semester work (two forms) will be published in the study materials of the course. The teacher determines the date of submission of the work (eg the last exercise in full-time study, or according to the combined study schedule) and the date by which he will provide feedback to students. Students who submit their work after the deadline will be penalized by deducting 50% of the points from the total evaluation. Maximum number of points obtained for the semester work = 70 points. Furthermore, students will receive 3 continuous tests during the semester - each with 15 points. These tests will not be repeated. A student who does not participate in the online test is automatically evaluated for 0 points. In total, from continuous testing 3x15 points, ie max. 45 + 70 points. If the minimum attendance is not met, the student will prepare an additional (requirement for registration) a seminar paper. The topic of the work, its scope and other parameters will be consulted by the student in advance with the teacher. Conversion of points per stamp: A = 100-93 points, (115-93 in fact students can get more points), B = 93-85 points, C = 84-77 points, D = 76-69 points, E = 68-60 points, F = less than 60 points. Students who do not obtain the minimum number of points (60) for obtaining a mark, or students with ambitions for obtaining a mark may apply for an individual examination date.
