The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The objective of the course is to introduce students to the concept of interpersonal relations, understood as fundamental social relations taking part in socialization and formation of a man as social entity. Interpersonal relations will be elaborated namely in the form of individual and collective social capital. The course will focus also on social networks, social structure, changes in social relations in the era of globalization and formation of network society. Students will also get acquainted with ethical aspects of social relations, with problems associated with the individualization and widely discussed crisis of interpersonal relations. We will also discuss interpersonal relations at a macro-level (intergenerational relationships, ethnical, gender and other relations, multiculturalism, etc.). Acquired knowledge will be used, among others, in the improvements of presentations techniques, and prepare students for the subsequent course “Psychology in marketing communication”. Students are also supposed to be able to apply the Acquired knowledge in marketing communication and at their future workplace.

Organizations - formal and informal relations, power, culture, ethics and morality. Religion, art and law. 5. Interpersonal relationships as social capital 6. Interpersonal relationships and globalization 7. Generational, ethnic and gender relationships in contemporary society, multiculturalism 8. Interpersonal relationships in small groups 9.
