Cíle předmětu
The aim of this subject is to deepen knowledge of principles of designing information systems and to deepen knowledge of methodologies and techniques used in designing of information systems. The accent is put on TOGAF methodology including applicability, and Business process modeling with its notation. Active mastering of the course content is realized through a case study of practise.
Výstupy z učení
After passing this course will the students be able:
- to explain the principles of systems design,
- to explain different methodologies used in the process of designing of IS,
- to apply TOGAF methodology,
- to use Business process notation.

Výukové metody
Lectures in full-time study.
Managed consultations and tutorials in part-time study.
The course combines traditional methods of academic teaching and innovative methods of creative and experiential learning:
Conventional teaching methods
lecturing, briefing
Activating methods
discussion, heuristic methods, situational methods of and staging methods, business games
complex methods
group and cooperative learning, individualized learning, critical and systems thinking, brainstorming, collaborating in teams, computer-assisted simulation modeling and experimentation.
Metody hodnocení
Minimal required participation is 75% in full-time study and 50% on tutorials in part-time study. Students with lower than required participation have to fulfill additional study duties. Course completion: Credit Credit will be given for correctly solved the case study.
