Course objectives
The aim is to build a foundation of knowledge in management and balanced leadership of a relatively wide viewing angle so that the listener was well equipped to follow - already more specialized - subjects of the field of study, and understand the overall context of the business. Study targets. After completing this course, students will be able to: - Define, describe the essence and meaning of management, - Explain and justify why management is necessary for all kinds of organizations, - Explain why management requires a systematic approach, describe the function of management, - Introduce the concept of management science sight     management in its four developmental stages, - Be able to define the advantages and disadvantages of different organizational structures, - Based on the variability of the economic realities define the reason for change management, - To explain the benefits of CRM approach and philosophy, - To highlight the continuity of the concept of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, the importance of observing ethics in   business environment, - Explain the difference between process and project management, - Explain the concept of innovation in the context of the     competitiveness of enterprises, able to describe a particular business activity and activity within   Model Innovation Management, - Understand the principles of development and the achievement of balance in the region   leadership - Develop a personal development plan for the improvement of basic management skills.

Process Management. 8. Innovation, innovation management, innovative business. 9. Ethics business. Tools institutionalization of ethics in the organization. EFQM Excellence Model. Code of Ethics. 10. Basic principles of balanced leadership and management styles, self-management. Personal development plan. 11. Teaching methods
Lectures will usually contain part of lectures (theory, new information, including practical examples) and practical (case study). The lecture can be filled with self-assessment questionnaires, discussions on the topic, group work etc. will include assigning tasks for home preparation to the next instruction. Teaching in combined studies will be managed through consultation, which is next condensed presentation of the topic also assumed a previous self to allow subsequent consultations. The full-time and combined study each topic will be presented (in detailed or condensed form - the type of studies) teacher using PPT presentations, and discussions followed. Daily attendance: a cycle of 12 lectures, within which will be supplemented by practical examples of the theory, upon which the listener an idea of ​​the actual role of management (management) in an enterprise environment. Part-time study: 3 guided consultations (90 min.), Under which the theory will be supplemented by practical examples discussed and confronted with real practical examples of students so that the student was able to create an idea of ​​the actual role of effective management in a corporate environment.
Assessment methods
Course is completed by CREDIT. Daily attendance: credit is subject to the obligations of active attendance min. 75% (ie. Elaborating an assessment work on the theme "My management model." Combined form: credit is subject to the obligations of active attendance at min. 2 of 3 managed consultations (but not the mere presence, but active participation in the course of teaching, discussion, interaction, argumentation). Credit work will be processed on the topic "Personal Development Plan in one of the basic management skills" (eg. Self-awareness, active listening, dialogue, giving feedback, delegating, managing meetings, effective influencing, motivation, conflict resolution etc.)
