Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- understand and master the principles of quality management;
- understand quality issues in the competitiveness of products and services;
- use information and knowledge in an enterprise quality management;
- interpret issues in modern approaches to quality management.
Syllabus
  • 1. The issue of quality.
  • 2. Seven basic tools of quality management.
  • 3. Set of standards ISO 9000.
  • 4. Models of success EFQM and CAF.
  • 5. Reliability.
  • 6. Specific methods of quality management including risk analysis.
  • 7. FMEA, house of quality.
  • 8. Methods layout features quality, including affinity diagram, relational diagram and program evaluation processes.
  • 9. Certification and accreditatio.
  • 10. Information quality management system.
  • 11. Standards of ISO 1400 (Ecology).
  • 12. Standards of the ISO 18000 (health and safety at work).

Teaching methods
Teaching consists of lectures and exercises, full-time study, and managed group consultations; combined form. Minimum attendance in cvičenív full-time studies is 75%, the controlled group consultation; combined form 50%. Students who fail to meet the mandatory level of participation may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to the extent that will demonstrate academic achievement and acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of course).
Assessment methods
Course is successfully completed credit. The criteria for granting credit is passed a written test consisting of 10 questions (minimum 50% points).
