Cíle předmětu
Students will learn the foundations of controlling and bases of strategic and operational controlling applied to marketing, sales, quality, innovation, finances and personnel management. The course also outlines what knowledge, qualities and competencies of controlling managers. Special attention will be paid to company budgeting and main controlling activities during the project. Theory will be enhanced with real life examples. Students who successfully complete the course will be able to describe fundamental business processes in strategic and operational controlling.

Výukové metody
All students include part time study and ISP should attend 50% of seminars as a minimum. In case of lack attendance student will select some course topic with teacher agreement for extra assignment. The closer conditions will be uploaded by teacher to IS during the course.
Metody hodnocení
Teacher define student´s project – research in company (needed agreement for selected company from teacher and oriented on course knowledge). This project will be oriented to course knowledge and evaluated max. by 60 points. Closer information will be uploaded to IS during course. Completed and accepted research = credit. Oral examination will be evaluated max. by 40 points. Together max. 100 points. Grading criteria: E min. 60 - 68 points, D 69 – 76, C 77 – 84, B 85 – 92, A 93 – 100 points
