Abstract (in Czech)
The concept of the circular economy represents a shift from the traditional linear economic model of "take, make, dispose" to an innovative system focused on minimizing waste and maximizing resource output. Reuse centers play a critical role in this paradigm, serving as hubs where goods can be collected, refurbished, and either sold or donated for reuse. The Czech Republic and Poland, with their growing emphasis on environmental sustainability, have seen an increase in the establishment of reuse centers. However, the path to a fully integrated circular economy is fraught with challenges, yet ripe with opportunities for systemic transformation.
