Příspěvek se zaměřuje na využití umělé inteligence (AI) ve forenzních a bezpečnostních vědách a analyzuje její roli jako nástroje podpory odborné praxe. Pozornost je věnována vybraným oblastem aplikace AI, zejména analýze strukturovaných i nestrukturovaných dat, zpracování videozáznamů, statistickému modelování a verifikaci zdrojů. Dále se příspěvek zabývá možnostmi využití AI jako podpůrného prostředku při formulaci hypotéz a interpretaci dat, včetně jejího vlivu na procesy rozhodování a hodnocení informací. Diskutovány jsou rovněž aspekty související s implementací těchto technologií v praxi, například otázky transparentnosti, reprodukovatelnosti a kvality výstupů. Cílem příspěvku je zhodnotit potenciál umělé inteligence jako nástroje využitelného ve forenzních a bezpečnostních vědách a vymezit její přínosy i limity v kontextu odborné činnosti.

The presentation focuses on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in forensic and security sciences and examines its role as a tool for supporting professional practice. It addresses selected areas of AI application, particularly the analysis of structured and unstructured data, video processing, statistical modeling, and source verification. Furthermore, the paper explores the potential of AI as a supporting tool for hypothesis generation and data interpretation, including its influence on decision-making processes and information assessment. It also discusses issues related to the implementation of these technologies in practice, such as transparency, reproducibility, and the quality of outputs. The presentation aims to evaluate the potential of artificial intelligence as a tool applicable in forensic and security sciences and to define both its benefits and its limitations in the context of professional practice.
