Abstract
The aim of the paper is to present the current situation in some issues of socially (ir)responsible behaviour, especially in the management of professional sports clubs from the highest domestic league competitions or the English Premier League, while also trying to focus on their approach to sponsorship issues, especially to sponsors from the so-called socially sensitive sectors.

Účelem příspěvku je zjistit do jaké míry jsou zohledňovány některé ze stěžejních principů konceptu CSR v přístupech profesionálních sportovních organizaci v tuzemském a britském prostředí., přičemž cílem výzkumu je poodhalit jakou roli zde sehrávají u sportovního sponzoringu, sponzoři z tzv. citlivých odvětví.
