Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain basics of diplomatic protocol and konzulátrní practice and selected topics from   history of diplomacy, international relations and international politics.
Learning outcomes
Student would be able to understand basic principles of social and diplomatic protocol.
Syllabus
  • DRESS CODE 1.Gentlemen’s clothes White tie (tail-coat, cravate blanche, habit) Black tie (cravate noire) Cut (cutaway, morning coat) Evening (lounge) suit Inofficial suit (tenue de ville) 2. Ladies’ wear Grand evening toilette (floor-length, corresponds to white tie) Small evening toilette (corresponds to black tie) Evening dress (gown) - long, cocktail (corresponds to evening suit) Inofficial dress (afternoon frock) 3.Wearing of orders Official orders, ribbon, sash, Grand-Cross Star, Grand-Officer Star Civil orders and decorations (big-size, miniature, small-ribbons) SOCIAL AND FESTIVE EVENTS 4.Breakfast (petit déjeuner), Lunch (luncheon, déjeuner), buffet lunch 5.
