Course objectives
The aim of the course is to evaluate the publications of the PhD student, whitch are necessary for the successful completion of studies.
Learning outcomes
Publications of the PhD student. Act No. 111/1998 Coll. On higher education institutions and on amendments and supplements to some other acts (the Higher Education Act). Part IV: Degree programmes and fields of study. Section 47 Doctoral degree programmes, (4): "The thesis must contain original as well as published results or results accepted for publication."

Teaching methods
These are the PhD student´s publications, under the methodical and professional mentorship through the supervisor.
Assessment methods
The course finishes with credit awarded by the supervisor. Requirements for obtaining credit are to meet the minimum requirements for publishing: - at least two articles in peer-reviewed (or higher level) journals, at least one of which is registered in the Web of Science or Scopus database; in the case of co-authorship on this article, the PhD student must be the first (and corresponding) author with at least 50% share; - at least two papers published in the conference proceedings. The thematic focus of publications must be consistent with the thematic focus of the dissertation. In case of co-authorship in publications, only the authors' shares are included in the publication activity.
