Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to: understand family law, inheritance and orientate in law of obligations.
Syllabus
  • 1. Family Law. 2. Marital property law. 3. Law of Succession, the acquisition in case of death (testament). 4. Inheritance and contract reference. 5. Legal succession, sidestepped heir and his protection. 6. Transition estate to the heirs. 7. Relative property rights. 8. Agreement and contracting process. 9. Change in liabilities. 10. Extinction of obligations. 11. Some obligations of legal action (purchase, work, rent). 12. Tort obligations.

Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study. Students who do not fulfil the compulsory attendance may be assigned additional study tasks throughout the term (in an extent that will prove study results and acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of the course)
Assessment methods
Course credit in the form of a seminar paper. Exam written test (or oral examination). Successful completion of the course is conditional on answering correctly at least 60% of the questions written test.
