Course objectives
The student is able to work out the Assignment of Bachelors´thesis (BT) and the Intention to BT. The student will be ready by the end of the course to work out the bachelor´s thesis within a subsequent subject Bachelor Project 1. During the course in seminar classes students will be taught to respect author’s ethics as well as the quality of creative professional work.

  • 1. Meaning, structure, topic and rules of working out the Bachelor´s thesis (BT), Assignment of BT
  • 2. Principles and procedure of working out the Introduction to BT
  • 3. Information sources, study and working with professional texts
  • 4. Methods of professional work, creating BT texts, form of BT
  • 5. Forms of BT, ethics of creative work, references and citations
  • 6. Conclusion of BT, completing BT and defending BT

Teaching methods
Seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.
Assessment methods
The course ended with a credit upon presentation of the bachelor work and text plans. The management faculty may set further conditions for granting credit. The credit is granted only subject teacher educator, not leading the thesis.
