The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Goal of the subject: to set a knowledge base for broad understanding of a modern marketing theory and methodology (incl. state of-the-arts concepts of drafting/wording,quoting,etc.) , which reflects the magister level of their Marketing Communications Studies. Consequently students should be able to create and draft Diploma work set up ( so called Zadání DP) and rather independetly to draft and Introduction to their Diploma work (Theses).Further more student will obtain competencies to work under the guidance of his/her Thesis leader and to meet requirement of the Diploma project 1 and Diploma project 2 subjects, in order to accopmlish them during the closing year of his/her studies.
Learning outcomes
Basic theoretical knowledge, orientation in problems and context of monitored topics. At the same time, the practical skills and skills of applying the acquired knowledge in a real environment of professional activities. The learning outcomes are the support and development of the profile of the educated practitioner which are necessary for successful work on final thesis.

  • 1.Structure of the the Diploma work set up ( Theme selection/modification ,processes and wording). 2.Methodology and methods for Diploma work set up. 3.Information resources and datamining. 4.Language style and specific wording. 5.Author,s ethics and quotations principles. 6.How to present my findigs and to close the Theses.

Teaching methods
Seminars and group consultations(incl.individual student presenations).Minimal presence level is 75%.Students may get additional tasks, in order to prove their competencies during specific study period and to close successfully the above mentioned subject.
Assessment methods
Credit is being obtained against written OK from student,s Diploma work leader/supervisor ( based on his/her positive review/acceptance of the Diploma Thesis Assignement and further DT introduction provided)to seminar,s lecturer.
