- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course objective is to provide students with expert support and training to write the bachelor theses. The students will be taught the procedures of scientific work and the necessary rules, procedures and techniques for the creation of academic texts appropriate for the bachelor's level of education.
At the end of this course, students will be able to understand the processes of the elaboration of the bachelor's thesis, process the registration for the thesis topic, write the thesis assignment and research statement and work with literature and resources. On the basis of acquired knowledge, students will be able to process their bachelor's thesis. - Learning outcomes
- After the completion of the course, the student is able to write and submit the Thesis assignment and the Research statement. At the end of the course, the student will be able to prepare the bachelor's thesis and go through the subsequent subjects Bachelor's project 1 and Bachelor's project 2. During the course, the students will be guided in seminars to understand authors' ethics and the principles of academic writing.

- Teaching methods
- 6 seminars for full-time students
Lectures and seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study. - Assessment methods
- Students who fail to fulfil the above mandatory scope of participation will be given additional assignments to demonstrate the required level of the subject’s knowledge.
The course is credited based on 1. Active participation during the seminars – demonstrating mastering Methodological Instructions to develop BT, 2. presentation of BT assignment approved / signed by DP supervisor, 3. presentation of Introduction part of the master theses in the range of 3-4 pages approved / signed by BT supervisor. - Language of instruction
