- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The student is able to work out the Assignment of Bachelors´thesis (BT) and the Intention to BT. The student will be ready by the end of the course to work out the bachelor´s thesis within a subsequent subject Bachelor Project 1. During the course in seminar classes students will be taught to respect author’s ethics as well as the quality of creative professional work.
- Learning outcomes
- Processing of the Bachelor's Thesis Assignment and Bachelor's Thesis Intent. The Bachelor's Thesis Assignment is approved in is.vsfs by the Head of the Bachelor's Thesis and subsequently by the Head of the Department, after which the student prints out the Bachelor's Thesis Assignment and places it in the Course Submission Office. The student places the Bachelor's Thesis Intent in the Course Submission Office with the approval signature of the Head of the Bachelor's Thesis.

- 1. The meaning of the thesis, requirements for the professional level of the thesis, the general structure of the thesis (methodological requirements of the VŠFS) 2. The procedure for selecting the thesis topic, processing the thesis assignment, principles and procedure for developing the thesis plan 3. Information sources and resources, methods of professional work, creation of the thesis text 4. Tools of student professional work, formal form of the thesis 5. Illustrations in the thesis, structure of the thesis form 6. Ethics of creative work and issues of using AI, references and citations of professional sources, Conclusion of the thesis, completion of the thesis and preparation of the thesis defense (thesis presentation)

- Teaching methods
- Seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study. If contact teaching and consultation in the personal presence of the student in full-time and combined form of study will be impossible, teaching is replaced by distance form of study.
- Assessment methods
- The course is completed by a credit on the basis of submission of the Bachelor Thesis and the text of the Bachelor Thesis Intent (both approved by the signature of the Bachelor Thesis Supervisor). Credit is granted exclusively by the teacher teaching the subject, not by the bachelor thesis supervisor. Submission The assignment of the bachelor's thesis and the intention of the bachelor's thesis is by inserting the subject B_BSeEM - Bachelor Seminar EM by inserting it into the Submission Office. The conditions for successful completion of the course by ISP students are the same. Seminars in full-time study, guided group consultations in part-time study. Minimum mandatory attendance for seminars in full-time study is 75%, for guided group consultations in part-time study 50%. If contact teaching and consultations in the personal presence of the student in full-time and part-time study are impossible, teaching is replaced by distance learning.
