Course objectives
Student after completing the course will understand the principles and objectives of cross-border cooperation. It is able to characterize Euroregions as one of the institutional forms of cooperation. Has an overview of Euroregions in the Czech Republic. It is able to explain the importance of euroregions for the development of border areas.
Syllabus
  • 1st Borders. Their importance in the history and present. 2nd Specific problems of border regions, their causes and solutions. 3rd The importance of cross-border cooperation scope. 4th Forms of cross-border cooperation in Europe. 5th Characteristics of the Euroregion. 6th Euro-regions in the Czech Republic. 7th Grant support cross-border cooperation.
