Course objectives
Annotation is the same for both forms of study. At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain the fundamental issue of labor relations.
Syllabus
  • Content of lectures Lecture 1 - The position of labor law in the   system of law and history of labor law ( the role of labor law in the   system of law, the history of labor legislation in   our countries, labor legislation in years   1948 - 1989), The development of labor law after 1989 (labor legislation in   years from 1990 to 2000, labor legislation in the   2000 - 2006, a new Labour Code No. 262/2006 Coll., technical amendment to the Labour Code No. 362/2007 Coll. Constitutional Court No. 116/2008 Coll.) International sources of labor law (International Labour Organization, the International Labour Organization , the system of laws of any jurisdiction of the European Communities, our labor law from the perspective of rights   EC countries, the right to information and consultation, employee representatives), Collective bargaining (collective agreement - Legislation in   Labour Code, the process of collective bargaining - Law No. 2 / 1991 Coll.   collective bargaining), the Concept of the Labour Code, the parties to labor relations, the basic principles (subject to adjustment of labor relations, labor relations participants, the basic principles of labor relations, labor union, the principle of equal treatment and non-discrimination, legal acts). Conceptual amendment to the Labour Code (brief description of the amendment to the Labour Code, the main changes).
