Course objectives
Annotation is the same for both forms of study. At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain the development of European integration, the clarification of EC strands and their hierarchy, familiarization with   properties of individual types of acts, including their enforcement before national authorities as well as the EC. The course also addresses the institutional structure of the European Union, including the approval procedure, which shall be adopted by secondary legislation EC / EU. The course includes an overview of the case law of the ECJ, as well as examples of important decisions of national courts, testifying to the acceptance limits   v ~ European law of the Member States of the European Union. V ~ Finally, the course addresses questions of the Lisbon Treaty and the major changes that this agreement into the primary of the EC / EU brings, and the issue of accession to the European Union   and the current status of the Czech Republic in the EU  .

  • This curriculum is designed for full-time study, course of instruction for part-time study is presented in a methodological study materials list (ML). Content of lectures: 1) the development of the integration process in Europe   2) The institutional structure of the EC / EU 3) Primary and secondary legislation EC / EU 4) The process of adopting secondary legislation EC / EU 5) The position of the ECJ and ECJ selection 6) The Treaty of Lisbon and the course its ratification 7) Terms of membership in the EU   - current status and perspectives

Teaching methods
Basics of European Law Compliance Terms semester test study requirements for Basic European law assumes successful completion of the final test, which will contain eight questions. The structure of the test will follow the structure of methodological papers prepared for this subject. For each correct answer the student receives 3 points, ie. with the correct answer to all questions 24 points. Minimum threshold of points for passing the test is 14 points.
Assessment methods
Teaching methods: Credit test. Assessment methods: The scope of compulsory participation in education at workshops or seminars in   full-time is set to at least 80%, at controlled group consultations at 50%. The range is given in   each syllabus in standard text incl. The following additional study requirements: Scope of compulsory participation in education: Minimum mandatory participation in seminars / workshops in full-time is   80%, the controlled group consultations in   50% of the combined studies. Students who fail to meet mandatory scope of participation, may be given during the semester   additional study obligations (to the extent that will demonstrate academic achievement and acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of course).
