Course objectives
After completing this course, students are able to clarify the issue of corporate governance, the role and the role of shareholders, managers, employees and other interest groups or participatory management. Students will learn and be able to cooperate in managing capital, management of employees, customers and local government authorities control.

  • 1. Corporate governance – definition of the term, objectives of company, realization in practice 2. Basic legal forms of business entities 3. Tasks of management connected with successful business 4. Etic leadership, performance management 5. Corporate communication and corporate culture, CSR 6. Capital and property structure of a business entity, managers’ financial governance – basic functions

Teaching methods
Attendance form of study – lectures and seminaries.Combined form of study – distant method of studies. In Attendance form of study 75% of attendance to seminaries is required, 50% in combined form. Those, who don’t fulfill the minimal attendance to the seminaries, might be subject to extra obligations during the semester in order to prove their knowledge of the subject.
Assessment methods
Credits are obtained on the basis of oral exam. List of topics to prove knowledge of students shall be announced before the end of semester.
