- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to improve language competencies of students, fix their grammar and extend their vocabulary. The stress is laid on the work with professional text, its interpretation and processing of the content into spoken or written output.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- read and comprehend a professional text of the studied course /an artistic text in Czech;
- to get oriented in terminology of the given course and to deduce a meaning of unknown words and word expressions;
- to interprete the contents of a professional/artistic text;
- to process the received information into the form of a presentation,
- to express themselves correctly from the grammatic and orthographic point of view,
- to select adequate language tools when expressing themselves. - Syllabus
