- Cíle předmětu
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic processes of business management, based on management theory. Students will get acquainted with the role of business owners and managers, the creation of medium-term strategies and the essence of operational management processes primarily in the field of marketing, business, human resource management, risk management. Special attention will be paid to the role of managers, their competencies and responsibilities in managing key business activities. The lectures will end with a list of prerequisites for the managerial work of the relevant section of the company.
- Výstupy z učení
- After finishing this course, students will understand how is the company managed and which processes are important there. The course is focused on who is a manager and what is important for successfully enterprise managing. Students will understand the evolution of management and reasons, which caused this evolution. Very important is ethics and social responsibility politic inside the company and it should be used as a competitiveness advance in national or global markets. Students will understand, how to manage a company in consistence with that and how to use this policy for enterprise managing and growth. The very important course objective is how to create a successful company strategy. Students will understand how is the enterprise manager able to make an effective decision-making process, how to learn ourselves and others and support creativity in an enterprise. This course is the first step, how to start managing a modern company and how to develop it.

- Výukové metody
- All daily form student’s attendance minimum is 75%, part-time and ISP student’s attendance minimum is 50% of seminars. In case of lack attendance (include online classes - depends on COVID-19) a student will select some course topic with teacher agreement for extra assignment. The closer conditions will be uploaded by the teacher to IS during the course. All students will check their email boxes and course materials minimum once time a week. By this way will be delivered information about study tasks, exams, seminar papers etc.
Teaching in the distance form of study will be realized in the form of tutorials, continuous consultation and control of the fulfillment of ongoing tasks, tests. - Metody hodnocení
- 3x continuous test during the course for 15 points each. Task specifications will be published in the presentations of the course, including a deadline for processing. The tests will not be repeated - only once time and if the student will not take the test, then evaluation = 0 points. Total 45 points. No test will be evaluated after the deadline, no one test will be repeated.
Teacher define student´s project – research in the real company (needed teacher´s agreement for the selected company). This project - research will be oriented to course knowledge and evaluated max. by 70 points.
Minimum quality for research acceptance is 50 points if not, the student will proceed new research. The deadline for a research paper is on December 18. 2021. After the deadline, the project evaluation will be penalized by 50% of decreasing reached points.
The research total 70 points if not missed the deadline,
if yes – 35 points.
For extra activity in class = extra points.
45 points from the test, 70 from seminar paper = 115 points + extra points is a maximum.
The minimum for reaching the grade is 60 points.
Scope of ratings and grades:
A =100-93 points (115-93 points),
B = 92-85 points,
C = 84-77 points,
D = 76-69 points,
E = 68-60 points,
F = less than 60 points.
Distance learning: The conditions for completing the course are as follows: 1. passing 3x continuous test 2. Credit is tied to participation in tutorials (but not only attendance, but active participation in tutorial, discussion, interaction, argumentation) and defending the student´s project research. - Vyučovací jazyk

Students of all forms of teaching (full-time, part-time, distance): late attendance during classes will not be accepted, and if classes are conducted through Microsoft Teams, it is expected that the camera and microphone will be turned on when prompted by a tutor.
During the course, learning materials and task assignments will be gradually uploaded to IS. Also, check IS and your email regularly - minimum once a week!.
