- Výukové metody
- Teaching will take place on the basis of lectures (full-time, on the school side), in which the theory will be supplemented by practical examples, based on which the student will get an idea of the actual role of managers in business management. A minimum of 75% attendance in lectures is required in the full-time study; the combined form of study and ISP students' minimum attendance 50%. In case a student does not fulfill the compulsory attendance, they contacts the teacher and agrees on an extra seminar work in the field of project and process management to verify the fulfillment of the student's self-study obligations. Knowledge from the subject will be presented on examples and students will be tested whether they understand controlling and whether they are able to apply the acquired knowledge. Students are encouraged to strive for the highest possible participation in teaching. The teacher will continuously assign tasks to students. If they are not met in time, the student loses points, which are included in the overall evaluation. Students are required to check the study materials on the subject Project Management and their e-mail boxes at least once a week.
- Metody hodnocení
- The course is completed with a credit and a final examination. Credit is awarded for at least 70% attendance at seminars, continuous active participation in seminar activities – solving tasks, preparing case studies and project outputs as assigned by the lecturer, and active involvement in discussions and presentations. If a student does not meet the required attendance or has ISP status and cannot be present in classes, they are required to complete “compensatory assignments” based on the lecturer’s instructions and submit them via the IS submission system. The final examination consists of a written project and an oral defense. The written part may take one of two forms: A project aimed at improving the efficiency of a selected process in a real company – including a description and graphic mapping of the original process, a proposed more efficient process, and a quantification of the expected benefits and efficiency gains. A structured project proposal, such as the implementation of a new technology, an educational or development project, or another similar initiative. The oral part of the exam is based on the presentation of the project and a professional discussion of the proposed solution.
