Prerequisites
The student is familiar with the basics of criminalistic science, the definition of the subject of science, the structure, system and methods of science and practice. He knows the content of tactical methods, procedures and operations.

The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with one of the basic criminalistic-tactical methods of "Interrogation" from the point of view of theoretical definition and practical use to obtain the necessary information for clarification of criminalistic-relevant events. The theoretical basis of the definition of the conceptual features of interrogation will be extended by subsequent methods and procedures, tactical operations in order to familiarize students with appropriate procedures for good practice. The procedure for the preparation and implementation of special types of interrogation, including interrogation in  secret mode, will be presented and explained. The student will be familiar with the specific procedures of interrogation activities and will be able to apply the acquired skills in  practice.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to:;
- define the conceptual features of the interrogation method;
- prepare, perform, evaluate and determine the next adequate procedure of the interrogation method;
- work with the specifics of interrogating a child, juvenile, elderly person, dying person;
- conduct an interrogation in a special interrogation room;
- use the skills of a consultant, expert and expert when using the interrogation method;
- administratively process the interrogation, keep the relevant criminal or misdemeanour file;
- analyze the content of the interrogation;
- carry out subsequent procedural steps, organise and plan their activities;
Syllabus
  • 1) Definition of the criminalistic-tactical method of interrogation in the  context of criminalistic learning;
  • 2) Conceptual features of interrogation, work with memory trace;
  • 3) The role of the consultant, expert and expert in the interrogation activity, the use of their skills;
  • 4) Preparation of the interrogation, the course of the interrogation and subsequent procedures;
  • 5) Specifics of special types of interrogations;
  • 6) Interrogation room and special interrogation room;
  • 7) Follow-up and concurrent procedural and operational acts with the interrogation method;
  • 8) Administration and documentation of interrogation activities;
  • 9) Planning and organizing interrogation activities.;
  • 10/ Physio-detection examination.
  • 11/ Psychological aspects of interrogation, interrogation of a particularly vulnerable victim;
  • 12/ Interrogation via videoconferencing equipment and Polpoint.

Teaching methods
Theoretical preparation, with laboratory exercises. Lectures and practical exercises according to case studies and good practice.
Assessment methods
The course will be completed with a credit test of 24 closed questions, while 19 questions must be answered correctly to complete it.
