Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to strengthen awareness among students that in the context of economic changes and changes in the business environment it is necessary to search for new paths and bring innovations to all business processes. Besides the theoretical definition of the basic concepts and the specification of the basic features of innovation and innovative entrepreneurship, attention is paid to clarifying the importance of innovation activities to ensure the high competitiveness of companies in the global global economy.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course the student will have the following professional knowledge. He will be able to: - clarify the meaning of innovation activities in order to ensure high competitiveness of companies in today's global business, - evaluate conditions for successful innovative projects, - understand the role of the company's managers to implement business strategies based on the innovation, - know appropriate processes and procedures related to change management in companies. During the course the student acquires the following professional skills. He will be able to: - ensure the profitability of investments in innovation implementation plan, - work with information sources, analyze acquired data and on their basis set objectives for individual management activities, - find examples of good practice, the benefits of successful managers for organizational development, - specify the term Industry 4.0 and its impacts on individual business units, - prepare the entrepreneurial innovative strategy.

Teaching methods
Teaching consists of lectures and seminars in full-time studies and seminars in part time study. Cycle of 12 lectures and 12 seminars in full time study program in which the theory is supported by practical business cases, under which the students gain understanding of the role of innovation and change in the business environment. Part-time study: 8 guided consultations (seminars) within which the theory will be complemented by practical examples, discussed and compared with real examples from the practice of students so that the student was able to create a picture of the actual role of innovation and change in business. The scope of compulsory participation in education: Minimum mandatory attendance at seminars in full-time study is 75 %, the controlled group consultations (seminars) in part time study 50 % attendance. Students who do not meet the mandatory scope of participation, may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to demonstrate acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of the course).
Assessment methods
The subject is finished with a CREDIT and an EXAM. Full-time study: Assignment of credit is subject to the obligation of active attendance min. 75% for lectures and exercises (e.g. not only attendance, but active participation in teaching, discussion, interaction, argumentation), fulfillment of homework tasks. Credit: Credit-related work on a topic – Innovative start-up. Exam: The oral exam of 12 thematic blocks according to the curriculum. Part-time study: Assignment of credit is subject to the obligation of active attendance min. 50% for lectures and exercises (e.g. not only attendance, but active participation in teaching, discussion, interaction, argumentation), fulfillment of homework tasks. Teaching methods
Teaching consists of lectures and seminars in full-time studies and seminars in part time study. Cycle of 12 lectures and 12 seminars in full time study program in which the theory is supported by practical business cases, under which the students gain understanding of the role of innovation and change in the business environment. Part-time study: 8 guided consultations (seminars) within which the theory will be complemented by practical examples, discussed and compared with real examples from the practice of students so that the student was able to create a picture of the actual role of innovation and change in business. The scope of compulsory participation in education: Minimum mandatory attendance at seminars in full-time study is 75 %, the controlled group consultations (seminars) in part time study 50 % attendance. Students who do not meet the mandatory scope of participation, may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to demonstrate acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of the course).
Assessment methods
The subject is finished with a CREDIT and an EXAM. Full-time study: Assignment of credit is subject to the obligation of active attendance min. 75% for lectures and exercises (e.g. not only attendance, but active participation in teaching, discussion, interaction, argumentation), fulfillment of homework tasks. Credit: Credit-related work on a topic – Innovative start-up. Exam: The oral exam of 12 thematic blocks according to the curriculum. Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to strengthen awareness among students that in the context of economic changes and changes in the business environment it is necessary to search for new paths and bring innovations to all business processes. Besides the theoretical definition of the basic concepts and the specification of the basic features of innovation and innovative entrepreneurship, attention is paid to clarifying the importance of innovation activities to ensure the high competitiveness of companies in the global global economy.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course the student will have the following professional knowledge. He will be able to: - clarify the meaning of innovation activities in order to ensure high competitiveness of companies in today's global business, - evaluate conditions for successful innovative projects, - understand the role of the company's managers to implement business strategies based on the innovation, - know appropriate processes and procedures related to change management in companies. During the course the student acquires the following professional skills. He will be able to: - ensure the profitability of investments in innovation implementation plan, - work with information sources, analyze acquired data and on their basis set objectives for individual management activities, - find examples of good practice, the benefits of successful managers for organizational development, - specify the term Industry 4.0 and its impacts on individual business units, - prepare the entrepreneurial innovative strategy.

Course objectives
Annotation is the same for both forms of study. The aim of the course is to define terms and specifications of the innovation and innovative business, to clarify the meaning of innovation activities in order to ensure high competitiveness of companies in today's global business, to evaluate conditions for successful innovative projects, to define characteristics of managerial processes in a business development while ensuring the profitability of investments in innovation implementation plan. The role of the company's managers to implement business strategies based on the innovation. Appropriate processes and procedures related to change management in companies.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course the student will have the following professional knowledge. He will be able to: - clarify the meaning of innovation activities in order to ensure high competitiveness of companies in today's global business, - evaluate conditions for successful innovative projects, - understand the role of the company's managers to implement business strategies based on the innovation, - know appropriate processes and procedures related to change management in companies. During the course the student acquires the following professional skills. He will be able to:  ensure the profitability of investments in innovation implementation plan,  work with information sources, analyze acquired data and on their basis set objectives for individual management activities,  find examples of good practice, the benefits of successful managers for organizational development,  specify the term Industry 4.0 and its impacts on individual business units,  prepare the entrepreneurial innovative strategy.

Teaching methods
Teaching consists of lectures and seminars in full-time studies and seminars in part time study. Cycle of 12 lectures and 12 seminars in full time study program in which the theory is supported by practical business cases, under which the students gain understanding of the role of innovation and change in the business environment. Part-time study: 8 guided consultations (seminars) within which the theory will be complemented by practical examples, discussed and compared with real examples from the practice of students so that the student was able to create a picture of the actual role of innovation and change in business. The scope of compulsory participation in education: Minimum mandatory attendance at seminars in full-time study is 75 %, the controlled group consultations (seminars) in part time study 50 % attendance. Students who do not meet the mandatory scope of participation, may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to demonstrate acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of the course).
Assessment methods
The course is completed by credit and examination. Full-time study: the credit is granted based on the fulfillment of the obligations (active participation in seminars and development and presentation of innovation project). Closing the course is conditional upon successful completion of the written test, which can be combined with the oral interview during resit. Part-time study: the credit is granted based on the fulfillment of the obligations (active participation in seminars and potentially development of innovation project). Course objectives
Annotation is the same for both forms of study. The aim of the course is to define terms and specifications of the innovation and innovative business, to clarify the meaning of innovation activities in order to ensure high competitiveness of companies in today's global business, to evaluate conditions for successful innovative projects, to define characteristics of managerial processes in a business development while ensuring the profitability of investments in innovation implementation plan. The role of the company's managers to implement business strategies based on the innovation. Appropriate processes and procedures related to change management in companies.

Teaching methods
Teaching consists of lectures and seminars in full-time studies and seminars in part time study. Cycle of 6 lectures and 6 seminars in full time study program in which the theory is supported by practical business cases, under which the students gain understanding of the role of innovation and change in the business environment. Part-time study: 4 guided consultations (seminars) within which the theory will be complemented by practical examples, discussed and compared with real examples from the practice of students so that the student was able to create a picture of the actual role of innovation and change in business. The scope of compulsory participation in education: Minimum mandatory attendance at seminars in full-time study is 75 %, the controlled group consultations (seminars) in part time study 50 % attendance. Students who do not meet the mandatory scope of participation, may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to demonstrate acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of the course).
Assessment methods
The course is completed by credit and examination. Full-time study: the credit is granted based on the fulfillment of the obligations (active participation in seminars and development and presentation of innovation project). Closing the course is conditional upon successful completion of the written test, which can be combined with the oral interview during resit. Part-time study: the credit is granted based on the fulfillment of the obligations (active participation in seminars and potentially development of innovation project). Closing the course is conditional upon successful completion of the written test, which can be combined with the oral interview during resit.

Anotace je stejná pro obě formy studia. Cílem předmětu je vymezení základních pojmů a specifikace základních rysů inovací a inovačního podnikání, objasnění významu inovačních aktivit pro zajištění vysoké konkurenceschopnosti dnešních firem v globální světové ekonomice. Vysvětlení, jaké jsou podmínky pro úspěšné zhodnocení inovačních záměrů. Vymezení charakteristiky manažerských procesů zajišťujících rozvoj podnikání firmy využitím úspěšných inovací při současném zajištění rentability investic vložených do realizace inovačního záměru. Úloha manažerů firmy při implementaci podnikatelské strategie opírající se o využití inovací. Procesy a vhodné postupy související s řízením změn ve firmách.

Výuka probíhá formou přednášek a seminářů (cvičení) v prezenční formě studia a řízených skupinových konzultací v kombinované formě studia. Prezenční studium: cyklus 6 přednášek a 6 cvičení, v rámci kterých bude teorie doplňována praktickými příklady, na základě nichž si posluchač vytvoří představu o úloze inovací a změn podnikovém prostředí. Kombinované studium: 4 řízené konzultace, v rámci kterých bude teorie doplňována praktickými příklady, diskutována a konfrontována reálnými příklady z praxe posluchačů tak, aby si posluchač byl schopen vytvořit představu o faktické úloze inovací a změn v podnikovém prostředí. Rozsah povinné účasti ve výuce: Minimální povinná účast na cvičení / semináři v prezenční formě studia je 75%, na řízených skupinových konzultacích v kombinované formě studia 50%. Studentům, kteří nesplní povinný rozsah účasti, mohou být v průběhu semestru zadány dodatečné studijní povinnosti (v míře, která umožní prokázat studijní výsledky a získané kompetence nezbytné pro úspěšné zakončení předmětu).

Předmět je zakončen zápočtem a zkouškou. Prezenční: udělení zápočtu je vázáno na splnění povinností stanovených vedoucím cvičení (aktivní účast na seminářích a vypracování prakticky zaměřené semestrální práce a její prezentace). Udělení zkoušky je podmíněno úspěšným složením písemné zkoušky, jež může být v opravném termínu kombinována ústním pohovorem. Kombinované: udělení zápočtu vázáno na splnění povinností stanovených vedoucím řízených konzultací (aktivní účast na řízených konzultacích a vypracování prakticky zaměřené semestrální práce), udělení zkoušky pak úspěšným složením písemné zkoušky, jež může být v opravném termínu kombinována ústním pohovorem.
