- Course objectives
- The course will provide students with knowledge of software engineering, in addition to the basic course on this subject - N_SWI_1. The aim is to familiarize students with modern methods and techniques for the development of information systems, and also formal methods and tools. It deals with the metrics, risk management, inspection and other techniques and standards used in the development process.
- Syllabus
- The following topics are discussed: - Process development, standards CMMI, ITIL, ISO - Model driven development, transformations of models. - Reverse Engineering. - Technology of requirements specification. - Formal Methods. - CASE tools. - Service-oriented architecture (SOA), Web services. - Process-oriented description, software prototypes. - Iterations and increments. - Software Metrics. - Configuration management. - Control changes. - Process-oriented description. - Fundamentals of human resources and labor regulations in software teams. - Analysis and Risk Management. - Inspection and reviews. - XML technology.

- Interpretation of the subject matter through consultations.
