The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The goal is for the student to understand the course and was able to explain the fundamental workings of insurance as a specific category of financial and insurance sectors. At the same student on the basis of acquired knowledge is well versed in the field   insurance business. At the end of the course the student will be able to: - Understand and explain the nature of insurance to individual insurance forms, functioning as a financial insurance category, defining the specifics of insurance services and insurance business, - Use information on insurance products   on   the development of the insurance market, the factors influencing the     uplatněí periods of different types of insurance products, - Interpret and justify the content of individual insurance from   looking design insurance products - Based on the knowledge gained to justify factors and influences in the insurance markets, - To analyze the basic factors affecting the insurer

Teaching methods
Controlled group consultations that provide additional lectures using presentations with data projector. Involving students in teaching using the supplied case studies that analyze specific issues. Teaching takes the form of workshops on guided group consultations in the form of study. Minimum mandatory participation in a seminar on the controlled group consultations in combined form 50%. Students who fail to meet the mandatory level of participation may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to the extent that will demonstrate academic achievement and acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of course).
Assessment methods
The course is completed credit and examination. The condition is a credit semester work. The exam is oral, the themes of questions for the exam will be announced in   during the course.
