Course objectives
The student is able to work out the Assignment of the Diploma thesis (DT) and the Intention to DT. The student will be ready by the end of the course to work out the DT within a subsequent subject Diploma Project 1. During the course in seminar classes students will be taught to respect author’s ethics as well as the quality of scientific and academic work.

  • 1. Importance, structure, theme and write theses rules work (DP) DP Entering
  • 2. The principles and procedure for drawing up the Introduction DP
  • 3. Sources of information and resources, study and processing of scientific and technical texts
  • 4. Methods of student professional work, creating text DP, DP formal appearance
  • 5. Form DP, ethics creative work, references and citations
  • 6. Conclusion DP, DP completion and defense

Teaching methods
Seminars in full-time study, tutorials in part-time study. Compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study , compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.
Assessment methods
The course is completed with a credit based on handing in the Assignment of the DT and text plans. The management of the faculty can set further conditions for awarding a credit. The credit can be awarded exclusively by the teacher of the subject, not by the DT supervisor.
