Course objectives
The student is able to work out the Assignment of Bachelors´thesis (BT) and the Intention to BT. The student will be ready by the end of the course to work out the bachelor´s thesis within a subsequent subject Bachelor Project 1. During the course in seminar classes students will be taught to respect author’s ethics as well as the quality of creative professional work.

  • 2. Principles and procedure of working out the Introduction to BT
  • 3. Information sources, study and working with professional texts
  • 4. Methods of studet professional work, creating BT texts, form of BT
  • 5. Forms of BT, ethics of creative work, references and citations
  • 6. Conclusion of BT, completing BT and defending BT

Teaching methods
Seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.
Assessment methods
The course takes place through at least two individual consultations with the bachelor thesis supervisor during the semester. The content of the consultations is the elaboration of the BP Assignment Concept and the BP Project. The subject is finished by credit on presentation of Bachelor Thesis and Text of the Course (both documents must be approved by the signature of the bachelor thesis supervisor). Management of the faculty may set additional conditions for granting the credit. The credit is awarded exclusively by the teacher teaching the subject, not the supervisor of the bachelor thesis.
