Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
After successful completion of the course, students will gain an overview of the most important theoretical and practical contexts, relationships and processes characterizing the observed area and at the same time, they will acquire basic skills and user habits in practice. The partial objective is to understand the differences between the financial management of financial corporations and institutions, including insurance companies, and the specific problems of regulating the economic performance of banks, funds, insurance companies and other financial services providers.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain the methods used in business and management of institutions providing financial services - banks, investment instruments, collective investment funds and organizers of market infrastructures and they will be able to explain the economic substance of these financial institutions.

Presumptions trends and effective development banks 4th bank balance and its performance 5. The economy, organization and management of banking entities 6. Risk and financial management of the bank 7. Theory and practice of the organization and management of banking entities 8th Position of Securities Dealers (OCP) and the process of providing investment services to investors OCP 9. Economic aspects of the status and activities of investment companies and investment fund as an institutional investor and investment services provider. seminar 10. Basic financial insurance theory and economics Insurance 11. The role of financial institutions in the mediation of Mao, the specifics of mergers and acquisitions in terms of financial services 12. Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study. Students who fail to meet the mandatory level of participation may be given during the semester additional study obligations (to the extent that will demonstrate academic achievement and acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of course).
Assessment methods
The course is concluded by credit and exam. Credit certifies fulfillment of the study duties, especially active participation in lessons, continuous tests and full-time students extra separate presentation of the essay, the overall scoring more than 1/2 of the total number of points. The exam consists of written and oral. Written exam consists of a test with a score of 50 percent of the total points.
