Cíle předmětu
Students will be acquinted during the first semester predominantly with the contemporary ways of European public administration execution and with the principles of management implementation in the administration activities. A special attention is oriented to the explanation of the New Public Management principles. The study in the second semestr is concentrated to the explanation of management approaches in the contemporary public administration with the emphasis to the clarification of governance and leadership principles as well as ways of European employment and educational policy implementation. At the end of the course students should be able to: - understand and explain main principles of Public Management and Governance conceptions implementation within the European public administration systems; - understand selected management approaches in the local management and the state administration; - compare new steps in management in European public sector implementation. Objectives of the subject also apply to the combined studies.

Výukové metody
Teaching takes the form of lectures and seminars in the form of full-time study and conducted group consultations in the combined form of study. The scope of compulsory participation in education: minimum obligatory participation in the exercise in full-time study is 75%, in conducted group consultations in the combined form of study is 50%. Students who fail the obligatory scope of participation can enter during the second semester the additional consultations.
Metody hodnocení
Zápočet bude udělen za samostatné vypracování seminární práce o rozsahu 6-10 stran. Téma, které si volí student z oblasti problémů probíraných v rámci předmětu, musí být před vypracováním schváleno vyučujícím.
