Course objectives
The aim is systematic explication of selected problems of strategy and management of information systems and their discussion. Active mastering of the course content is realized through a case study of a decision support system draft / an optimization of a business process / reengineering of IS-ICT project management (alternatively).
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion, students will be able to apply the principles of information management at strategic, tactical and operational levels.

Teaching methods
The course combines traditional methods of academic teaching and innovative methods of creative and experiential learning:

Assessment methods
Lectures, excercises and seminars in full-time study.
Managed consultations and tutorials in part-time study.
Minimal required participation is 75% on seminars in full-time study and 50% on tutorials in part-time study.
Students with lower than required participation have to fulfill additional study duties.
The subject ends with assessment and examination.
Credit will be given for correctly solved the case study.
Course completion: Unconditional requirements are the case study, its presentation, and passing the test. Student is succesfull if his test is assesed by minimal 60 points of maximum 100.
