- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- Aim of the course is for both forms of the same study. Students will be acquainted with methodological analysis (attitudes and shaping) security sciences, practical sciences bases methodology, structure and logic of scientific knowledge. It should also gain the ability to understand concepts: knowledge (science, theory, methodology, scientific knowledge) and the basic concepts of the theory of safety science (security incident, the security situation and information, identifying security-related activities), social and security components gnoseologickým Sciences. Their knowledge should be able to use in identifying the needs of scientific knowledge in current safety practices and understand the transfer of scientific knowledge into security and policing practices with applications for work safety manager (specialist). In this way, students will be able to prepare the groundwork for decisions at field position held.

- Lectures:
- 1st Methodological analysis (approaches and levels) forming a safety science.
- 2. Basis of methodology of practical sciences.
- 3. Methodology, structure, logic and forms of scientific knowledge.
- 4. Safety and Police Science yeah practical science.
- 5. Basic concepts of the theory of security (police) sciences.
- 6. Identification of security activities, its use in work of security authorities.
- 7th Police conduct and professional profile and professional activity police (security officer).
- 8th epistemological and social components of police and security sciences.
- 9. The need scientific knowledge in current security practices.
- 10th transfer of scientific knowledge in security and police practice (theoretical questions).
- 11th transfer of scientific knowledge in the security and police work with applications for work safety manager (specialist).
- 12. Summary of relevant knowledge and outline the problems the formation and development of safety science.

- Teaching methods
- PS Teaching consists of lectures and seminars; KS form of concentration; minimum mandatory participation in seminars full-time study is 75%, on a controlled group consultations in combined studies 50%.
- Assessment methods
- The subject is finished secondly credit, which is the PS awarded for successfully handling a written test. The criterion for granting credit is 70% of points. On the credit is tied oral exam at the end of the semester.
