In English
This book provides guidance on risks within the public and private sectors, offering an understanding of the new approach to financial control in the public sector and the internal control system. It compares the current system—which is being phased out—with the new system set to be introduced on January 1, 2027. Managers will come to view internal audit as a valuable source of support, while users of financial statements will gain insight into how an external auditor can assist them. The book covers risk management, the planning of controls and audits (both internal and external), and the execution of control and audit activities in detail. It explains the significance of control reports and auditor’s reports, including the determination of the appropriate audit opinion. Practical and instructional in nature, the book is based on current legislation and international auditing standards.
