Abstract
A topic of sustainable entrepreneurship has recently been receiving considerable attention worldwide. The importance of issues connected with wide implementation of the CSR principles in the Czech Republic is growing as well, which occurs not only due to the country’s accession to the European Union trying to support expansion of the CSR concept onto its member states and other countries. In addition to analysing a particular condition in which the implementation of sustainable business in the Czech Republic is, the paper also explores possible ways to its further development within the country. Moreover, it includes identification of key areas which special attention should be paid to in a process of systemic support of the sustainable business activities in the Czech Republic. The article also presents results of an empirical probe mapping the government support of CSR among selected companies in the Czech Republic.
