Mezi hrozbami roku 2018 se v komentářích finančních analytiků nezřídka na předních místech objevovala nadměrná regulace finančních trhů, zejména bank a pojišťoven. Dalším aktuálním tématem je senzitivní otázka, zda banky a pojišťovny si udrží své dominantní postavení v bankovních a pojišťovacích službách anebo budou postupně uvolňovat místo na trhu služeb nově vznikajícím a dravým konkurentům – start-up podnikům.

Between the threats of 2018, in financial analyst comments, the overriding regulation of financial markets, especially banks and insurance companies, has often emerged in the top positions. Another topical issue is the sensitive issue of whether banks and insurance companies will retain their dominant position in banking and insurance services, or will gradually release market space to emerging and predatory competitors - start-ups to businesses.
