Course objectives
At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand and explain the basics of effective communication, they will practice some standard communication situations, and with the use of audiovisual recordings and their analysis, they will gain an overview of essential communication models, tactics and the most common mistakes that can occur in standard communication situations. As part of the course, the student will gain an elementary overview of the theory of so-called soft skills. The course aims to strengthen competence in the given area and enhance the qualitative personality profile of the course participants (elimination of stage fright and other often pathological phenomena - blushing, etc.).
Learning outcomes
After successfully completing the course, the student will be able to: - explain the principles of effective communication - understand the differences in the approaches and preferences of introverts and extroverts to communication - describe their personality and other possibilities for developing their communication skills - list techniques for managing stress (including during presentations or communication)

Teaching methods
- Interactive lectures that not only contain a number of demonstrations, but students also have the opportunity to try out some of the methods directly and practice them. - Training of selected methods of communication psychology - Brainstorming and discussion
Assessment methods
A full-time student is required to attend 75% of lectures. A part-time student is required to attend at least 50% of lectures. If attendance is not met, the student will process “tasks for non-attendance” according to the instructor’s instructions and submit them to the Submission Office. Students with full attendance will be allowed to take a written credit test (mostly with multiple-choice questions).
