Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
By completing this course a student will gain a knowledge of a general part of Administrative Law. He/she will be able to explain basic concepts and institutes of this sphere and will understand the system of Administrative Law. Further, he/she will master the skill of applying legal regulations in practice and will understand links between general institutes and the legislation in individual specialized spheres of Administrative Law. He/she will also gain a knowledge of how legal regulations are created in this sphere.

  • 1. Basic concepts – public administration and Administrative Law. 2. Sources of Administrative Law. 3. Legal persons and executors of public administration , organizational principles. 4. Issuing administrative acts. 5. Creating a norm by administrative bodies. 6. Public law contracts. 7. Administrative supervision. 8. Internal acts and service supervision. 9. Other forms of administrative activities. 10. Control of public administration. 11. Protection of rights in public administration. 12. Responsibility in public administration.

Teaching methods
Lectures in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study. Minimum compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study. Additional tasks can be given to students who fail to meet compulsory participation (to the extent that will demonstrate study achievements and acquired competencies necessary for successful completion of the course).
Assessment methods
The course is completed with an oral exam. An oral exam is passed successfully, if a student answers correctly two questions drawn from 21 test fields.
