- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- This subject has the main aim to aquaint the students with the other legal regulation in the field of Individual Labour Law employment relationship between employer and emploee, their rights and duties concerning compensation for demage, agreements on work performend outside employment relationship, with Collective Labour Law, especially the regulation of the relation between representatives of employees (trade unions in particular) and employers or their associations. An important part of the Collective Labor Law is also regarding collective bargaining contracts. Students will be also aquainted with the Act on Employment, especially the legal regulation of some groups of employees (temporary employees, foriners and persons with disabilities). Students will also learn how to solve the typical employment relationship causes.
- Learning outcomes
- After the completion of this subject student will be familiar : - with the legal regulations of other institutes of individual labour law, especially labor-law responsibility; - with the regulation of equal treatment and anti-discrimination legislation (including EU legislation) and its application in practice; - with the legal regulation of conclusion of collective agreements and the resolution of collective disputes; - with the adaptation of selected institutes in the field of employment (agency employment and employment of foreigners); - with the regulation of control activity in labour relations.
