Course objectives
The aim of this course is that the student has acquired the basic knowledge and capable in the field of communication and specifically for public presentation. Student who successfully complete the course will: 1. Know the basics of communication theory, process, its phases and folder. 2. Understand the specific patterns of public expression. 3. Learn the basic rules of successful presentations. 4. Be able to demonstrate quality presentation before an audience. 5. Learn the rules for managing stress during the presentation.
Learning outcomes
Students should be able to manage the basics of the presentation, whether product or service, or themselves as a person (admission interview, etc.). The main acquired skills are voice work, non-verbal communication (body language) and, of course, the ability to work with emotions with both people and others. The absolutists of the course should be able to cope with the treatise in social contact, especially during a public presentation.

  • Contents of lectures: 1. Communication in today's society 2. Meaning persuasive presentation function - verbal and nonverbal communication 3. Kinds and types of presentations 4. The content and process of the communication process 5. Preparation, conduct and evaluation of public expression 6. Psychological and sociological aspects of public expression 7. Negative symptoms of presentation - stage fright, questions 8. Presentation - Company profile, products and services 9. Communication rules in the team 10. Possibilities of using technology in presentation 11. Active presentation - practice 12. Evaluation of practical part of the course
