The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain basic social skills, analyze processes of different types of social communication activities. Explain the concepts: skill, social skills, communication, social communication and to clarify the nature of sensory and social perceptions, the importance of self-knowledge for people. Learn about the process of social communication, the verbal, paralinguistic and nonverbal components. Realising the potential of the mass media, especially computer multimedia communication. Attention is paid to intercultural communication. Identification of personality type, art and conversation the interview, preparation and conduct of recruitment and assessment interviews, strategy for solving communication problems in   working team, discussion and leadership workshops.
Syllabus
  • 1 Social skills, the role of speech, rules of stereotypes, osovojení social responsibility, empathy, anticipation and self-esteem, problem manipulation. 2 the process of acquiring skills, socialization, social education, training in communication skills. 3 Specifics of social communication, the content of social relations, social phenomena and their structure, direct communication, shared beliefs, attitudes, 4 Communication environment, the importance of non-verbal components of the communication process, the role of symbols and slogans, ideas. 5 Communication as a source of conflict, resolve them as social skills, negotiation schemes. 6 Role of truths, half-truths and lies in   rpocesu communication, the issue of the use of manipulative techniques.

Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars in full-time study; tutorials in part-time study; compulsory seminar participation is 75% in full-time study, compulsory tutorial participation is 50% in part-time study.

The granting of credit is subject to processing and defending essay in the range of 5   ca page in Word or 10-15 page PowerPoint presentation in
