Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Course objective: At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain the basic business management processes. Students will learn about the role of business owners and managers, creation of medium-term strategies and the essence of operational management processes in marketing and trade. In the next semester, the course will continue (as Business Management 2) with the management of finance, quality, innovations, IS/IT and personnel. Special attention will be paid to the role of managers, their powers and responsibilities in managing key corporate activities.

Teaching methods
PS: (full time students) 2 hours per week of lectures; KS: (part time students) 6 seminars (90 min each). Lectures for present studies will be split into theoretical as well as practical part. Theoretical parts will be always explained on practical examples. Even more interactive form of study is applied in KS (part time study). Students in part time study program should attend 50% of seminars as a minimum.
Assessment methods
Students will need to complete the test (60 % points min) of the knowledge taught, on the basis of which they will obtain a credit.
