The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course introduces the concepts of data, information, knowledge. By identifying the information needs of the user (manager) and the analysis and synthesis of a problem / a system develops students' ability to propose an adequate information system. Active mastering of the course content is realized through a case study of a model draft of management game. Upon successful completion, students will be able to: • work with the concepts of data, information, knowledge, • identify information need, • perform system analysis and synthesis, • design information and knowledge support for processes within an organization.
