- Cíle předmětu
- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain a basics of modern approaches, theories, trends and current models of personal work based on knowledge of the labor market opportunities. The emphasis is on deciding on the need, specialization and experience of staff, managing activities such as acquisition, selection, adaptation and termination. Focus is also on the principles and methods of performance appraisal, rewards, training and overall development of employees. Students are also taught the responsibility and role of managers and HR staff in the personnel management process, employee care and development of appropriate staff relations in a company.

- The course is delivered in 12 lectures and 6 seminars (90 mins. each) in full-time study and 4 tutorials (90 mins. each) in part-time study program.
- Metody hodnocení
- The course is completed by credit and exam. Credit will be granted based on: i) In class active participation = 5 points ii) own CV and Letter of Interest for the Job Specification of student´s personal choice (mid semester submission) = 5 points iii) successful presentation of the group project = 10 points. Examination - multiple choice test = 24 points available Grading: A 40 - 44 B 36 - 39 C 32 - 35 D 28 - 31 E 25 - 27
