Prerequisites
This subject requires a basic awareness of the business and activities of individual business units (business, marketing, human resource management, controlling, innovation and change management, risk management, financial management).

Course objectives
The Business Model is a creative subject based on the interconnection of knowledge and abilities gained through the study of key subjects of this Bachelor Program. The aim is to bring students to the knowledge that a good Business Plan is the foundation of any long-term successful business and as such represents by far the most effective way to reduce business risk while its adequate presentation can lead to the acquisition of external financial resources, for realization. During the course, successful and functional start-ups will be presented, emphasis will be placed on the practical application of the acquired knowledge, the creation of a business plan in a coherent structure.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to use basic strategic and business analysis of opportunities and threats, audit of strengths and weaknesses of society and team members, acquire basic theoretical tools for creativity and innovation, have basic awareness of the possibilities of appropriate financing of business investment, choose the appropriate solution (with connection with industry 4.0) business model, compile and present a basic investor pitch. The basic investor pitch with a simplified Lean Canvas Plan should be selected in a given context determined by the teacher (free or given by a given assignment scenario).

Financial plan - a startup budget, income and expenses. 10. Resources, support, guarantees, investors, CSR. 11. Risk management, security plan for IS / IT. 12. Rhetoric - „Speech of mind“. Teaching methods
Lectures will include theory, new knowledge including practical examples and a practical part with student´s cooperation. Emphasis will be placed on individual development and team collaboration The exercises will be focused on learning to learn through their own judgment, based on economic and critical thinking oriented towards entrepreneurship, creativity, courage, presentation and communication. Active attitude to the world, open access to new forms of management. Emphasis will be placed accurate thinking based on verified qualitative and quantitative data, on the ability to work with information, with trend information and presentation systems. The Business Model will be presented as sequence of interconnected projects and processes. Combined study will take place in the form of a controlled consultation where, in addition to a condensed presentation of the topic, a previous self-study is also expected to allow for subsequent consultation. Full-time study: a cycle of 12 lectures in which the theory will be supplemented by practical examples for two main topics - Business Model and Business Environment. Combined study: a cycle of 6 controlled consultations (90 min.), In which the theory will be supplemented by practical examples, discussed and confronted with real examples. Will not be accepted late attendance and activities in the course of the course, devices (tablets, phones, etc.) that are not directly related to learning.
Assessment methods
The course is completed by credit "z". Daily attendance: 1. active attendance min. 75% for lectures and exercises (ie not only presence, but active participation in teaching, discussion, interaction, argumentation), + 2. Business plan on the hackathon - the topic will be announced by the teacher just in time. Possible teamwork of 2-3 students. Students will present the business plan on D-Day. Customized study plan (CSP) students only - intermediate tasks, see IS CSP student requirements. Without the completion of intermediate tasks (this is only for IPS students due to their absence in courses, where other students work on current issue) and Business plan the subject can not be successfully completed. Combined form: 1. active attendance (at least 50%) in managed consultations (but not just attendance, but active participation in teaching, discussion, interaction, argumentation) + 2. Business plan on the hackathon - the topic will be announced by the teacher just in time. Possible teamwork of 2-3 students. CSP students only - immediate tasks, see IS CSP student requirements. Without the completion of immediate tasks (this is only for CSP students due to their absence in courses, where other students work on current issue) and Business plan (recorded business plan presentation in one minute) the subject can not be successfully completed. Presentation of the day-time students' plans will take place on the so-called Day D, which will be held in early May before a professional committee of potential investors. This presentation will no longer be a presentation of the entire business plan, but it will be ready for about 5 minutes to convince a potential investor to invest. After a presentation on Day D, a student of a full-time study form receives a credit. For students of combined form and students of Customized study plan: Business plan is developed by the student individually and the presentation of the Business plan will be recorded in one minute period and will be uploaded into IS).

The lecturer assumes that business and entrepreneurs are continuously watching magazines: Strategy, Trade News - Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts CZ magazine, up-to-date information on the issue in expert discussions, Ministry of Industry and Trade reports. Students will also be alerted during the course of the course. The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with. In both full and part-time study forms each topic will be mostly presented (in detailed or condensed form – according to the type of study) in PPT presentations, followed by an interactive discussion.
