Abstract
Business Intelligence applications are now commonly associated mainly with datamining technologies. The authors have chosen computer models as tools that can make “business” “smart”. There are many computer modelling options. The article focusses on the System Dynamics discipline. The aim of the article is to answer the research question “Are Stock and Flow models of System Dynamics really beneficial in actual managerial practice?” Information collection to answer the research question was carried out by a survey in economic practice.

Aplikace Business Intelligence jsou dnes běžně spojovány především s technologiemi dataminingu. Autoři si vybrali počítačové modely coby nástroje, které mohou dělat „byznys“ „intelligentní“. Je mnoho možností počítačového modelování. Příspěvek se chce zaměřit na disciplínu Systémová dynamika. Cílem článku je hledat odpověď na výzkumnou otázku „Jsou Stock and Flow modely Systémové dynamiky opravdu přínosné v reálné manažerské praxi?“ Sběr informací pro zodpovězení položené výzkumné otázky byl realizován průzkumem v hospodářské praxi.
